Moving up to the next grade is a milestone in the life of the student. It means they belong to the group that "passed the test" and achieved success.

It sets a pattern for life. It gives them the idea that life is moving up from one stage to another. It gives them a sense of achievement and makes them want to do more.

So, make your celebration BIG!

Take out all the stops. Let your student know you noticed, and that you are proud. If you are a teacher, you know you have done your job. You taught well and the student learned. If you are a parent, you see your child growing up to be the person you want them to be.

"Small School Mascots" will make your celebration great. They will bond the student to the school and set the stage for next year. The school is becoming part of your student's life, and you want it to be a good part, one they love. You want it to be part of their life so they feel it is worth all the time it takes.
